Bus driver receiving trainingAt M. L. Bradley Ltd, our drivers are our most important asset. From the moment a potential driver arrives at M.L. Bradley, they are instructed according to the company mission, to “provide transportation to school children in the safest, most efficient and amicable way possible.”

The Safety of our passengers is the heart of our family company and as a result, we have designed a very comprehensive in house training and licensing program.  (Recognized by the Ministry of Transportation)  Applicants receive 40 -50  hours of in- class and “behind-the-wheel” training.  The training program also includes techniques beyond defensive driving such as: behavior management strategies, customer service and first aid.  Our drivers’ values support M.L. Bradley’s commitment to safety and customer service and become ambassadors for our family business. 

Mechanic working on a busOur team works with drivers to accommodate their schedules, home location and family responsibilities.  Where possible, drivers may  park at home, or are assigned routes that require little travel time.  Depending on the load, drivers can take their preschool children with them. Our full- time managers and staff operate with an open door policy so that drivers can, at any time, receive support.  Additionally, M.L. Bradley  technicians are always available to assist with any mechanical break downs or concerns to ensure that drivers are not stressed with any additional issues

Our drivers enjoy the family atmosphere found at M.L. Bradley Ltd. The welcoming attitude of fellow drivers and full time staff is  second nature.  In addition to our open door policy, our drivers are very supportive of one another.  This collegial rapport is fostered through  many company events such as barbeques, luncheons, 50/50 draws and community service support. 

Our drivers are our most important asset, and at M.L. Bradley Ltd., we make sure that they are respected and appreciated.
